5 Ways to Relieve Stress {& Essential Oils to Help}

I’ve been working really hard these past few weeks to get everything ready for our church District Assembly. Let me tell you it has been stressful! Lots of long nights, typing, staring at a computer screen and going through stacks of papers to get my work done. District Assembly is this weekend and all this work is almost over!

That’s why I’m going to share 5 ways to relieve stress with you today, because I need to remember to take care of myself and relieve the stress in my life! {Also throwing in ideas on how to use essential oils with each way… because I’m in love with my oils}

Disclaimer: These aren’t anything you don’t already know, you just need to be reminded that you can’t take on weight of the world on, act like super woman and survive very long. Take care of yourself (especially you mommies out there) no one else is going to and if you aren’t taking care of yourself, you can’t take care of those precious blessings God has given you.

Here are 5 things to remember:

1. Drink Lots of Water… {add a drop of lemon, lime, orange or grapefruit oil to refresh after a stressful day}

2. Eat Healthy… {better yet add some Ningxia Red to your diet}

3. Take a Relaxing Bath … { Take a long hot peace & calming detox bath.  All you do is mix a few drops of the oil into a 1/2 cup of Epsom Salts and then pour in with the bath water. “Peace & Calming Take Me Away!” Really it’s awesome.}

4. Get a Good Nights Sleep… {use the night-time rub to help fall asleep and some lavender on your pillow}

5. Get Your Mind Right by making sure you are in the Word {add stress away blend (see below) to your shoulders before your quite time and devotion}

Here are a few other ways I rid the stress from my life.

When my feet are tired I enjoy a Lime & Mint Foot Scrub, plus it makes my feet polish ready! Since it is warming up outside and I’ll be wearing those flip flops daily, my toes need to be pretty!
