Journaling Bible | Jesus Said Be Still

This was a devo from our homeschool on Wednesday. Our director sang this song for the kids, I loved it and knew I had to journal it!

Now if you know me, you know I’m a little OCD and I did something very very silly. I put this entry in the wrong place. YEP! I put this little gem in the Old Testament instead of in the New. Oh well! I love the way it turned out so I’m looking past my little mistake. The old testament points to Jesus anyways and I think that this is a perfect example!

If you would like to grab a journaling bible like mine, you can get one at Dayspring. They have many to choose from but this is the one I have —> ESV Journaling Bible (aff link)

  1. […] Our director Kristyn shared with us a lesson on the fruit of the spirit: gentleness and sang us an impromptu little song and I’m going to HAVE to make some art with now! I LOVE being in love with God’s word […]

  2. I absolutely LOVE that you put this in the Psalms! This story hits me as one where Jesus is proclaiming his identity and authority– totally echoing the voice of God throughout the OT. Love love love it!

I would love to hear from you!
