Journaling Bible | The Last Supper

Holy Week can be an exciting time in the life of the church and a sad one. I’ve been going through She Reads Truth’s Lent devotional and while on a camping trip a few weeks ago I was inspired to create this.

All of this art started making me think of having a Seder Meal with our church family, and yesterday we pulled it off. Pastor and I worked all afternoon to provide a Seder Meal Experience for our Church Family at Cornerstone. It turned out well and I was so excited to experience this with them!

After the meal I passed around my 12 Oils of Ancient Scripture to smell. Interesting conversations arose as we all experienced a glimpse of how some of these same scents would be present at Jesus’ time. I thought it was really neat to experience food and smells in this setting. I’ve been learning a lot on these oils and have been sharing them in a Facebook Event online, but I’ve decided to turn it into “Blog Posts” and share with y’all here!
