Journaling Bible | It Is Well

Have you heard “It Is Well” by Kristene DiMarco & Bethel Music??? If not I’m totally surprised because it is all over the radio. (Wait what is the radio? … That question isn’t too far off people!” But if you haven’t, watch this video below!

We had TJ Magee come down from Nashville to do worship at our church . She is a great talent and asset to have so close to us and thankful for her willingness to lead us to the throne of God with beautiful music. We don’t always get to have her come lead worship for us, but when we do it’s a blessing.

A couple of Sundays ago I heard “It Is Well” for the first time and I spoke to me. I balled right there in church! Thankfully I’m in the sound booth and no one saw me! I had to journal it.

Grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice
Seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard

Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
Through it all, through it all
It is well
Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
It is well with me

Far be it from me to not believe
Even when my eyes can’t see
And this mountain that’s in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of the sea

So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name

It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
C Dsus D Em — (last time G)
It is well, it is well with my soul

The lyrics “seas that are shaken and stirred” gave me this picture in my head. I’m really happy with the way it turned out. I wanted a picture of the deep sea with fish swimming around but couldn’t figure out how to make that so I googled “deep sea” and come up with this image –>
