Journaling Bible | JESUS = JOY

2016-03-14 15.16.15

There is this Facebook group filled with JOY and encouragement that is been a blessing and a huge dose of girly fun for me. It is ran by some pretty awesome Ladies I’ve met through social media and love their hearts for the Lord.

I also love glitter… confetti and bright colors… and so do they.

I was watching a periscope of one of the Ladies and she was talking about not letting anyone steal your joy. I also was happening to be watching War Room staring Priscilla Shirer, the author of Fervent (based off of the movie), and it was on the part where she declares, “Ain’t NOBODY stealing my JOY!” I busted out in front of my family “Glitter” and started giggling, I was filled with joy at that moment! Yes I felt silly, and it was totally weird of me (but whats new) to randomly shout this out but then everyone else laughed in the room! I just spread that joy like butta! (another saying from the Facebook group)

But where does that JOY actually come from? It only comes from the Lord. He is the SOURCE of all JOY! I read a devotional on joy and this image of a confetti popper busting came to mind and knew I had to journal that in my Journaling Bible. When I see this page I think of these special women that fight for their joy and spread it around like butta!

Jesus please let the joy you give me point others to you! That is my HOPE and PRAYER! Also some people will be irritated at this joy in my life and I pray that you soften their heart so they can see the little things in life and accept the joy you offer. We live in a hurting world and a little more joy in our lives could really help! I love you Lord and hope to bring the joy you offer to the people around me.
