Welcome Fall Wellness with Essential Oils

fall-facebook-header

So I think fall is my favorite season!

I love the sweater weather, the college football, the crisp fall air and cozy blankets with warm drinks!  What I don’t love is the germmies that accompany fall. Thankfully I have some earthy goodness in these Essential Oils that not only supports our health and wellness but also boosts our immune systems.

This will be our 3rd fall season using Young Living essential oils and so far we haven’t had any doctor visits for illness.  I think these oils pay for themselves just in not paying dr co-pay visits alone! Here are a few products that I cry if we run out of in the fall season…

Ningxia Red: My family likes to get the Ningxia Red 2oz packets and we share one every morning. For us these portable packets are convenient and have become a routine to our mornings. It’s kinda like a social thing around here, we gather in the kitchen before hubby heads out the door for work and we take our supplements, drink our Ningxia and grab some coffee.

Thieves and Thieves Vitality: This time of the year, THIEVES EVERYDAY, seriously y’all I’m not joking! We pop a roller bottle on top of our thieves bottle and then I like to roll it under my toes on my feet, because my throat likes thieves under my toes. It’s silly, but it does! On the kiddos I just really roll it on their feet, sometimes I dilute most of the time I don’t but thieves does have some oils it in that some skin is sensitive to… SO check your skin and your kiddos skin sensitivity  and dilute as necessary. Diluting doesn’t change the effectiveness of the oil, just how your body absorbs it.

With Thieves Vitality you can ingest it. That means maybe put a drop or 2 of Thieves Vitality in an afternoon tea or maybe even in your coffee. Something I love to do as a fun snack is make Sweet and Spicy Popcorn, it sounds good doesn’t it! Heck an afternoon snack that is immune boosting, get to poppin! Here is how I make it:

Sweet & Spicy Popcorn:
Pop some popcorn
In a large bowl mix 2 drops of Thieves Vitality to 2 tbs melted butter
Move the bowl around to coat the sides of the bowl with the butter
Then place the popped popcorn in the bowl and toss

Breath Again for Mom and Dad & SniffleEase for the Kiddos:
We use a lot of these two blends in the fall and spring

The oils in Breathe Again are: Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Eucalyptus Staigeriana, Eucalyptus Globulus, Laurus Nobilis, Rose Hip, Peppermint, Eucalyptus Radiate, Balsam Copaiba, Blue Cypress, Eucalyptus Bicostata, Myrtle. We rub breathe Again all over our chest when we need some breathing assistance.

The oils in SniffleEase are: Eucalyptus Blue, Palo Santo, Lavender, Dorado Azul, Ravintsara, Myrtle, Eucalyptus Globulus, Marjoram, Pine, Eucalyptus Citriodora, Cypress, Eucalyptus Radiate, Black Spruce, Peppermint.

My kids love the fact that they get their very own oil blend just for them to use. We place this one the back of our necks before we head outside to play or if we are going to be outdoors for awhile. It comes diluted with the kiddos in mind. And don’t let them know that mommie uses it when they aren’t looking.

These are just a FEW of the oils we love in the fall but there are so many more! If you haven’t hopped on the oily train, you totally SHOULD! The oily train is SO MUCH BETTER than the sick patient waiting room… just sayin

The best way to get started in with oils is by getting the Premium Starter Kit (11 oils and a Diffuser of your choice) and becoming a Member (which means if you want to get more oils later you get 24% off! Crazy awesome deal!)
