“It’s pretty easy to receive the ‘good’ of life! But what happens when the offering being presented is bad news, a heavy load?” With Scripture and biblical insights, Kim Marquette invites all to join her on a 14-day journey of discovering a little about a heart of receivership. “While we do not know what the future holds, we do know who holds the future.” —Kim
When I first saw the new kit “A Heart that Receives” I fell in love with the colors. So bright and fun and the yellow + purple is super cute and those alpha stickers, I was super excited to dive into these goodies!
BUT…
When I first read the description of the kit… not so excited. Let me explain. I’ve had some hard times in life, it terms of easy things. I haven’t had any huge heavy loads but still feel like in the moment those things felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders.
I didn’t know where this kit would take me.
I didn’t know what God would want to do in me through this kit.
I didn’t know if I would want to share what developed through my time in the Word.
I was scared.
Now that sounds silly, it’s just paper and questions but I don’t just want to be a person that celebrates my life in Christ when things are good! I want my life to reflect Christ ALL of the TIME!
Let’s unpack the kit:
Product Details:
- 1 plastic pouch
- 1 devotional booklet
- 1 clear stamp collection
- 1 roll of washi tape
- 1 sheet of cut-out paper pieces

This washi y’all! I’m going to use it everywhere! And it’s a reminder that when Christ is in my life I am strong and courageous! It’s so pretty and totally my colors!
And look at these pretty stickers! I love the florals.
And these stamps can be used in so many ways! Super cute to also use to make cards and gifts for the upcoming Easter Season!
“While we do not know what the future holds, we do know who holds the future.” – Kim Marquette
We need to remember that the one that created us, knows us and the future and He put us here now for “such a time as this”! I hope that my life reflects HIM and encourages y’all to dive in and get lost is God’s Word and to bestow a crown of beauty instead of ashes!
