I had a hard time even thinking about reading this article, however, it was good, encouraging and an awakening. Seeing too many things that I can’t do anything about… but wait that isn’t true. “Stop reading articles that make you feel sick and start printing them out and laying them before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in specific situations.”
Abdu Murray, President and Founder of Embrace the Truth International shared an article from thegospelcoalition.org saying, “Things are awful, but we must be committed to the truth.”
As Christians, we have a duty to champion the truth. We should avoid spreading unsubstantiated claims and inflaming dread and panic by playing on people’s natural disgust of harm to children. ISIS is an organization that has committed heinous acts of violence and violated the human rights of many of our fellow believers. But we must not partake in the spreading of lies, even if it is against our enemies.
Rather the stories and pictures we are seeing over Facebook are true or not, which I pray they aren’t, one things remains the same, we can pray.
