It’s that time of the month again, when new Illustrated Faith kit lands on my doorstep and I can’t wait to see what the girlies at IF came up with?! This kit “Created to Create 2” is super cute and I’m so excited to dive into the goods and create something with my man… GOD!
So last month IF launched their new look and design of the monthly kit and I know some weren’t a fan but I certainly am! (You can read my post here.) While the new kit design doesn’t come with a devo book, it does include 4 devo cards! Plus I have seen SOOOOOO many amazing ideas from girlies online that just created their own books to store their work in. Like the Devo book from April at Marine Parents did @ mpjournalingbible … LOVE… look below
And actually one of the things that I like about the new kit is that there isn’t a devo book because i found myself just journaling in the books rather than my bible. So for me I’m totally okay with the change, it’s one less thing I need to keep and more supplies to be used up!
I have to say that I think these clear stickers are my favorite part of this kit. I mean how could I choose a favorite with all these cute designs right?! But I do have a love for stickers! Y’all it runs way deep, back in grade school I had a whole binder FULL of them. I guess some things never change!
However… these little paint brush stamps run a close 2nd! Hoe cute are these?! I have see these in so many different ways being used, not just in my bible journaling. Think scrapbooking, card making, gift tags, happy mail!
This kit comes with:
- 1 clear stamp collection
- 1 roll of washi tape
- 1 thank you card from Shanna
- 1 package of paper pieces (22 pieces)
- 2 sheets of translucent stickers
- 3 heart-shaped tip-ins
- 4 devotional cards
- 4 journaling cards
I really like the wonky letters included in this kit. My 10 year old daughter Emma was wanting me to help her make some custom alpha stickers similar to these! It’s crazy how God gives us ideas (most of the time not just us but others too!) Little did Emma know that Shanna had posted a tutorial on how to make some and then to see this kit have the look in the design, oh I was in love! Oh and these colors are totally my jam!
From Dayspring.com: In the September Illustrated Faith devotional kit, Created to Create #2, Shanna invites you on a four week journey of discovering more and more of who you are in Jesus—unique and special, with a God-sized plan designed especially for you.
Today I ask that you put down all the “I can’ts” and pick up the “I cans!” Maybe you are creative in how you put colors together, or how you see the world, whatever it may be—creativity is inside of you! —Shanna
I’m going to be walking through this kit on my Facebook Group
Since I didn’t have time when I opened the kit to actually dive into a journaling page, I spent a few minutes decorating my Faith Planner (grab it here) with the stickers and washi of this new kit. I looked over on my desk and the washi from the Rise Up kit went well and added some aqua washi too!
