Every year there are forty days (Monday – Saturday) before Resurrection Sunday, that the church calls Lent. Not until adult hood had I ever heard about Lent and certainly never participated it in (well duh because you just said didn’t know about it!) but I share this to say, it’s okay if you have never heard of lent and have no idea what I’m talking about!
Normally christians give up something or fast from it for those 40 days because Christ went away for 40 days. Or sometimes a new habit is taken up during these 40 days.
Whatever the thought, this time is supposed to draw you closer to Christ.
Joy and I wanted to offer you something to journal or ponder during this Lent season and something on our heart lately is community. We created Love Well – A Lenten Devotional to help you draw closer to the Lord and to His Church.
Lent starts with Ash Wednesday, which happen to be this past Wednesday, but I wanted to encourage you it’s not too late to Love Well. Well yes Ash Wednesday has past, there are still 5 week till Holy Week, so plenty of time to Love Well to those around you. For the next 5 weeks the devo offers verses, 5 weekly devos and “love” challenges for local and online community! We would love for you to join us!
If you haven’t seen the new devotional for Lent floating around on social media then let me share with you this beautiful kit!
All of my devotionals come with a Digital version to use on the iPad or tablet and a print yourself version.
Grab the Digital Devotional & Print Version of Love Well – A Lenten Devotional
You can load the digital version unto your iPad and conduct the study through an app like goodnotes or notability. The digital version comes with fully working links, 2 blank calendars to fill in as your wish (March and April) all of the devotional content and 40 blank pages to journal and take notes for the 40 days of lent.
There are versions to print out your devotional as well!
– File in full color (does not include extra pages like the digital version, just 5 sheets front and back by printing all odd pages and then reload your printer and print all even. Also do this with the inside devo files to create a front and back notebook.)
– A file to print the cover separate from the devo to make your own notebook.
– And 2 different files to print the inside devo to help save ink, one with guides and one without.
This devo is set to fit more of a B6 travelers notebook which can fit in a Standard or B6 TN.
There is also 13 pdfs fun of artwork and elements to use in your journaling time with the Lord. These are great printed on clear or white sticker paper, cardstock or vellum.
And if printables aren’t quite your thing I offer physical stickers mailed to your home to create with. You can use these in your Bible or your Planner, Travler’s Notebook, Scrapbook or Faith Planner.
You can order the stickers here.
Let me show you a couple pages I’ve created using the devo and the printables! And you can search Instagram #apoalovingwell to see what others are creating.
I can’t wait to see what you create!
