Have you ever gone into a Bible studying thinking it’s going to go a certain way and you begin to have all these ideas how you might journal what you “think” you are going to get out of this study…??? only to have it bring you to tears and leave you feeling like you got blindsided? Well, this happens to me a LOT, one might think I would learn my LESSONS on not trying to limit God and what He wants to do in my life. Thats what day 1 did to me … I just tell it like it is.
My husband and I have been talking a lot lately about the lack of normal human interaction these days. Most of my life is lived behind the computer, which I don’t mind too much because I can be a little introverted at times. I coordinate the social media and communication for a few different organizations and do graphic design and run an etsy shop. I’m much more comfortable behind the computer screen. But yet I crave that human connection.

I believe that God opened my eyes to Bible Journaling (back in August 2014) for me and my personal relationship with Him but also for others. Just like Shanna did for me, (once I saw her Bible it gave me freedom to be myself in mine) I could do for others. Encourage people to dig deeper into the Word of God and get lost. I could be a BLESSING.
This is my fourth Illustrated Faith Kit, but I haven’t started Kit #3 Lists by Faith yet. I have just journaled the kit in my Journaling Bible but this time I’m also journaling in the devotional book itself. It’s something different and I kinda like it.
I have accumulated many supplies over the years and years of crafting, but this layout I used my Illustrated Faith Paints, Stickers, Washi, Stamps and Ink from the kit and some simple colored pens. (I just LOVE that mason jar stamp!!!)
If you have been thinking about grabbing an Illustrated Faith Devotional Kit, I think this Blessings or Lessons devo kit wouldn’t be a bad place to start! I’m already getting a lot out of it and I’m only on day 1. I can’t wait for you to see where God wants to take you in His Word and how He wants to work on your heart.
*Affilate link below. I did receive this kit “Blessings or Lessons” from Dayspring for free to use, but all opinions are my own. I’ve bought all of my other Illustrated Faith supplies on my own except this kit… I like them THAT MUCH!!!
