I wanted to journal on the back of this page (view more of this page above here) but was afraid of how it would turn out since I planned to use watercolors and that would cause the pens on the this to bleed through to my new page. But I went for it anyways and here is how it turned out.
Here is what supplies I was working with and gives the overall view of the page.
I actually did the top of this page after I did the bottom.
It’s Psalms 92 and I love how it starts out
It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
2 to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night,
3 to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.
I thought it went well with a whimsical feel and with the other side of this page being just that, I took a risk and watercolored the back of that page and I think it ended up beautiful! The wings and the little dots on the page before it bleeds through and looks like sprinkles on the other side and I actually love it!
One thing with journaling in my Bible is that I fully believe it IS WORSHIP to me and I don’t get hung up on was it perfect or even how it turns out… I MESS UP A LOT! I spell things wrong A LOT! and it’s OKAY! The Lord knows my heart and loves my worship! … and you know what, He LOVES your’s too! Just WORSHIP and don’t get hung up on HOW it looks!!!
I love this passage… the more I read it the more I fall in love with it.
Who rises up for me against the wicked?
Who stands up for me against evildoers?
17 If the Lord had not been my help,
my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.– Psalms 94:16&17
The hands bleed through and I just added them to this side too. I really like the little hands, I picture them as the Lord sending angels to hold us up when we feel like we can’t go on.

It all looks great but I, especially love the little hands at the bottom of the page! They make me smile.
