With Cinco De Mayo coming up, I’m sharing ways I’m using Lime to make my life a little better. It’s warming up outside and I’ll be wearing those flip flops daily, so my toes need to be pretty! I’m getting them ready by enjoying a Lime & Mint Foot Scrub, it’s a part of my celebration for hard work being done!
Here’s how you make it:
1 Cup Epsom Salt
3 drops Young Living Peppermint Essential Oil
3 drops Young Living Lime Essential Oil
Combine Epsom salt, Peppermint oil, Lime oil and mix until combined.
Store in glass, sealable jar. Use 1⁄4 to 1⁄2 cup of mixture in a tub of warm water to soothe tired and achy feet.
BUT if you are going to make a lot for gifts… {like I am} then use this recipe to make 20 gift jars!!!
20 cups of Epsom Salts
60 drops of Peppermint
60 drops of Lime
Remember Mother’s Day is coming up {It’s May 11, 2014 this year} and this would be a great homemade gift to share with your mama or your mommie friends {I’ll be making it for the moms at our church}. It’s easy to make and I’ve included a free printable to add to your packaging {a mason jar}. Who wouldn’t love getting this cute homemade gift?

So cute & ready to gift!
Do you have a source to purchase Epsom Salts wholesale/or in Bulk? It can really get pricey, purchasing all of these in small containers from the local stores,(even dollar stores) if I want to make quantity for gifts of anything.
No not in bulk. I got a huge bag of salts at Walmart for $4.50. It did 17 pint sized jelly jars. Jars cost the most at $9 for 12 of them. They make great gifts though!
Just now reading your great idea of Lime Mint Foot Scrub; how can I print the cute labels you have shown on your blog?
I’m so looking forward to trying this “‘recipe”!
