POSITIVITY
- the practice of being or tendency to be positive or optimistic in attitude.
- the presence rather than absence of a certain substance, condition, or feature.
The Lord has been speaking a lot to me lately that I can’t trust my thoughts and feeling.
Our own understanding is faulty and often our mouths speak what our head and heart are feeling.
Our thoughts sometimes can’t be trusted.
Left to our own minds we will either trick ourselves into false hope or believe the worse about our current situations.
It’s true.
Scripture says in Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
So what are we to do?!
Sometimes we have to “fake” it.
There I said it!
Sometimes we have to just be positive even though we don’t feel it right now.
I know I have given negative thoughts a hold for far too long and they have contaminated my joy, peace, rest and life.
“Faking it” isn’t bad, it’s worth faking it… there is work to be done in our hearts that isn’t very pretty and that’s okay. This faith journey is a work in progress, ever changing!!! I need some work to be done so that’s why I searched out some scripture to speak truth and life into this season + fun colors to match!
All of these scriptures aren’t all roses and sunshine… a lot of them are reminders that what we say and think matter.
Our minds and hearts need to be reminded of God’s words of instruction… we are just like the Israelites.
So… Will you join me in journaling scripture through the month of September! ????
Monday – Friday for 4 weeks we will journal a scripture a day!
You can grab this free scripture writing printable here.
I even created a travelers notebook planner insert to write the scriptures in for the month of September!
September Positivity Planner Insert
If you don’t currently have a faith planner of some sort, try this simple travelers notebook sized printable. You print it out and if you want to make a book you print on both sides (the correct pages of course) and then cut and fold or fold and cut, whatever your preference is!
Simple!
You don’t even need a paper cutter, just some hand scissors will work.
If you are looking for a paper cutter/trimmer I use this one and it’s okay, not amazing but the price isn’t too bad! This one looks cool though with the size on the grid and its a little bigger for the same price.
I also offer a free planner insert (the page in the center of the picture above of the September Planner Insert) on my freebies page! You can get access to the freebies page when you signup for my newsletter.
Signup for the newsletter here!
The password for the freebies page will also be at the bottom of each newsletter I send out, so be sure to read those! You never know when I will load new items on the freebies page!
The Lord has laid it on my heart to GIVE more to this community, so I’m offering a handful of pages for free each month. The passcode will change often so be sure to keep an eye out for the newsletter in your inbox!
And if printables aren’t your thing and you LOVE getting happy mail, I created the cutest little samplers (regular and Micro Happy Planner punched, which would go into any happy planner) and TN stickers to decorate your Journaling Bible, scripture writing inserts, or faith planner!
You can create your own micro happy planner to hold these stickers to create a sticker book by getting some discs!

Micro Happy Planner Notebook +++ THIS ONE IS SO CUTE
Maybe the Micro size isn’t for you and you are more of a Standard Travelers Notebook Sized girl! Here are the Standard TN sized Sticker Inserts!
