Sabbath | Bible Journaling Printable Freebie
Work & Rest
work work work work work work REST
Reading about how the sabbath is for us, offering us rest, but how often do we NOT take HIM up on this offer. There are just too many things to do and enjoy that we don’t have time to rest and enjoy this gift the Father has given us.
This page was inspired by the farmers market visit my family likes to make. All the colors, smells, flowers, produce and music! A trip to the farmers market is JOY for me, but it’s a ton of work for the farmers and markers to get to this point, where they can sell their goods to others and spread JOY!

Often times I want to journal a page or verse to find that I have already journaled on this page. I guess its handy in these cases to have more than one journaling bible
View the Bibles I have and create in here. (affiliate links)
When this happened I perform a search for keywords or in this case most of the actual verse I’m wanting to journal on Bible.com or Biblegateway.com.
These verses popped up:
Exodus 12:16
Exodus 20:10
Exodus 23:12 (the verse I used for this page)
Exodus 31:15
Exodus 34:21
Exodus 35:2
Leviticus 23:3
Leviticus 23:8
Deuteronomy 16:8

Observing the Sabbath
While I’m not the best at observing the Sabbath, it’s a goal I want to work on to truly take a Sabbath. I think we can all benefit from a day of rest and connection with the God that loves us and our loved ones.
How do you observe the sabbath?
I’d love to hear how you and your family set aside a day of rest. Leave me a comment or idea on how you celebrate the sabbath.
And we should totally celebrate this day as it’s a gift from the Lord!
