Illustrated Faith came out with such a cute new kit! I’m loving the colors and style of this pretty that it actually inspired me to make some stickers to match in my faith planner. I love how IF kits can pull the creativity out of you to create beautiful things. I’m such a Bible Nerd! I have a million of them… okay that’s an exaggeration, I have about 30. But I have always loved studying God’s Word! Studying it, digging deep into what it says and how it changes me is really something crazy! But isn’t that just like the Gospel… to change us. That’s the goal!
Excerpt from Dayspring:
Word Nerd—October’s Illustrated Faith devotional kit is all about celebrating Bible nerds—those who LOVE studying the Bible, understanding it better, and expressing the discoveries with colors and creativity! Join Shanna as she guides you through different passages of Scriptures to read and meditate on, and begin asking the Holy Spirit to reveal truths through His Word that will empower you to live differently. “So have fun, get out the paints, and get ready to be blown away by the beautiful truth of the Word!” —Shanna
The Word Nerd Kit Comes with:
- 1 clear stamp collection
- 1 roll of washi tape
- 1 thank you card from Shanna
- 1 package of paper pieces (29 pieces)
- 2 sheets of translucent stickers
- 4 devotional cards
- 4 journaling cards
I have been adding all the cards from this year’s kits into the back of my NIV Journaling Bible that I journal these kits in. I did this last year with the stickers in my first journaling Bible. It’s crazy to see all the beauty and time spent with the Lord and the memories that come to mind when looking at these kits. They trigger times and events as well as the time spent with God. It’s like a visual scrapbook for me in the back of my Bible. I love it!
