We are always better together!
That’s what I love about the community of believers… even when it’s hard (because it is so counter cultural to do so) we seek community over competition. Believers know that God designed us not only to be in community but partnership with each other.
I think Dayspring + Illustrated Faith + Bella Blvd + (in)Courage has shown us a perfect example of what that Kingdom partnership should look like this month in their collaboration of the Craving Connection Illustrated Faith Devotional Kit.
They teamed up and what they created is simply beautiful and soul reaching! Seriously, for me this devo based on Book Craving Connections has truly helped me work through some issues I’ve been having. Plus with the new look of the kits this year, it’s super easy to take this study anywhere and connect with God.
This year I am embracing more of what I feel like God has called me to, sharing community with others and HIS WORD! I have to start doing this more online on a consistent basis but more importantly do this in REAL LIFE with others.
This card is helping me get past some fears. I have to keep going back to scripture and tell myself that HE has a purpose, I should be brave and I have nothing to fear because He has already gone before me.
What would life look life if we started really embracing the fact that God has already gone before us, paving the way for what HE wants to do through us? I think our interactions with others would be different. We wouldn’t be scared or at least as scared to make some connections we wouldn’t otherwise make. We would be better Kingdom builders for sure!
This year I challenge you to start something NEW, that thing inside that GOD has been calling you too but you have been to scared of! START THAT!
Like Crystal says in the devotional, “to start something new can rank anywhere on the scary scale, from ‘slightly hard’ to ‘absolutely terrifying’,” … it’s so true… BUT LORD whatever that NEW THING is that you have for us, let us walk BOLDLY in it!
“Yes!!
