This can only mean one thing… the new Illustrated Faith kit is out and it’s all about documenting our faith through the month of November! This month’s kit is called #if_gratitude.
Of course it’s as cute as ever! I seriously don’t know HOW the designers keep coming up with such CUTE designs and these colors ?! Yes Please! They totally scream fall!
This kit is a little different than last months kit… so let’s take a look shall we?
Here is what is included in the Kit:
- 1 clear stamp collection
- 1 roll of washi tape
- 1 thank you card from Shanna
- 2 sheets of translucent stickers
- 3 acorn-shaped tip-ins
- 4 devotional cards
- 4 journaling cards
I’m loving the washi (um cause I’m a washi addict) and these transparent stickers!!!
Many look forward to this this monthly journaling of our faith each year since Illustrated Faith started hosting #gratitudedocumented a few years ago! 2016 was my first year to participate and I did it with last years kit and you can check out that post here, and I did my entries in a pocket size travelers notebook.
This year (2017) is a BUSY stage in my life, okay that could be an understatement! I’m expecting #5, we are winding down homeschooling for this semester (we start in June during the summer when everyone else to enjoy summer vacation) and the holidays are fast upon us! I struggled with trying to figure out HOW I wanted the document my gratitude this month… I mean there are SO many ways to do it, in our Bible, travelers notebook, create a cute flip book (have you seen all the cute ones out there??? Check out ajproverbsthreefive, krystal_marie_b, or qulithuntr on instagram? !) and finally I decided to use my faith planner!
I’m using my Illustrated Faith Planner found here + the free journaling prompts from IllustratedFaith.com/shop + This month New IF DEVO Kit Gratitude + The Gratitude Documented Bible Journaling Kit = 2017 Gratitude Documented for me!
I don’t know why we try to make simple things so complicated! I journal in my Faith Planner daily (or at least I try to) so why was I stressing about how to document my gratitude??? Here is the first few days of journaling in my planner.
I’m keeping it simple! It’s one way for me to finish the goal of daily journaling my gratitude. I hope to keep the upcoming holidays SIMPLE too! Focusing on our blessings and gifts from our Lord and less of the hustle and crazy that can seem to shadow this beautiful season.
