If you didn’t know what day it was, like most of the time I don’t… It’s Cinco De Mayo! And I’m pretty sure we will be going out to grab some Mexican food tonight. The Sanfords LOVE Mexican, we would eat it every night if someone cooked it for us.
{We don’t cook much but are trying to change that}. Even our daughter Emma knows mommie doesn’t cook and we eat out. I took the girls and JL with me to Aldi’s and Walmart to get groceries, spent a ton of money and time on food to come back home and spend tons of time cooking dinners all week-long. And Emma asks what’s for dinner? {I hate that question} Mark replies I don’t know we will make something, momma got food at the store. Emma replies, “She didn’t get anything for meals?” Really Emma? Really? What was all that stuff I got then?
We did get a staple around here… tortilla chips, I got some veggies too to make some guacamole!
All you need to an avocado, tomato, half an onion, lime essential oil, and salt and pepper to taste.
Then cut up your veggies and place in a bowl. Put 3 drops of Lime EO and salt & pepper and start mixing.
And you’er all done! Enjoy!
This On the Spot Guac is so simple and I already had everything I needed to make it. I enjoyed some for lunch today. Yum!
We are trying to get better at eating at the house. Not spend as much or waste as much, but it’s hard for us because for so many years eating out was just what we did. I use a monthly menu service called Emeals. It’s great! It plans meals for you and a shopping list. They have different menus to choose from. You can check it out here.
And if you need to buy some Lime essential oil, you should think about adding that to a wholesale membership and get your Lime eo at 24% off. Check that out here.
What are you eating for dinner tonight?
